Yoga Nidra, as taught by Kat’s mentor, Tracee Stanley, is a practice of conscious rest. A return to wholeness where nothing is required of you. It is a guided meditation that invites you into a state between waking and sleeping, where the body can deeply rest while awareness remains present.
In this offering, Kat wove the soothing tones of her singing bowls, gong, and sacred instruments throughout the practice, creating a layered soundscape that supported the descent into “yogic sleep.” The vibrations helped to quiet the mind, soften the nervous system, and slow brainwave activity, allowing the body to release, restore, and receive.
