Qigong Meditation Through Movement

Facilitated by Sharon Cheston, a Sheng Zhen teacher since 2015.

Qigong is a traditional Chinese movement practice that combines slow flowing movement, mindfulness, and the breath to cultivate and strengthen the body’s vital energy. The slow, gentle practice of qigong heightens awareness of this deep body-mind-breath interconnection as it relaxes the body, quiets the mind and opens the heart.

In this 6 week series of classes, we learned and practiced Healing I & II, a series of seated Qigong.

Practice outside the class is necessary to develop and deepen the quieting of the mind and meditative flow.
